I STILL LOOK LIKE A TEENAGER, DON'T I?

So this just seems to be the story that won't go away... I remember first hearing VIVA LA VIDA on my way into work earlier this spring and instantly fell in love. Well... ever since VIVA LA VIDA hit the airwaves and started blowing up, accusations of it being plagiarized just keep on swirling around the band. I was first tuned in to this fiasco when I came across this clip a few months ago...



Well since COLDPLAY has recently been lavished with a number of GRAMMY nominations (no surprise there...) This new new lawsuit has reared its ugly head in the band's direction...



Hmm... Both artists make a convincing case... But aesthetically speaking, I still think that VIVA LA VIDA is a better song IMHO... I guess having a shitload of money and production at your finger tips helps but still...

So JOHN WATERS, of all people, has recently come out with a TOP 10 FILMS OF 2008 list and it's pretty inneresting..

Hmm... I used to have the time to stay caught up on all the films of the moment (both indie and wide release) during my college and SUNDANCE days but nowadays... I'm still working on my list for 2006...

Aaahh... I miss SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (is it summer yet??) But it looks like CANADA is having it's turn right now and they're being treated to some hot, hot man action!!



Absolute yums!! Looks like a trip to CANADA is long overdue ;)
