So I just caught up with the ep from last week of PARIS HILTON'S BFF and I'm truly shocked that KAYLEY got eliminated!!  And it's all thanks to her ex EZRA who we actually met a few weekends ago at a birthday party!!  He's super hot in person, gorgeous eyes, raised Mormon and rumor has it... He's "over girls..."  So we'll deffo be keeping an eye on that one ;)

So why do so many women seem to have such a hang-up with NICOLE KIDMAN??  The reviews for AUSTRALIA are in, and they're not very impressive :( But I think it has a lot more to do with the critical communities own hang-ups rather than any actual validity.  For example, this bitch doesn't know what she's talking about!



She said it herself, women just don't get NICOLE, just like I don't get women (sexually...)


So... There's more elaboration hitting the news media regarding JUSTIN-BOBBYgate that actually really adds some extra insight into the world at large surrounding THE HILLS.

So I liked this past season of NEW YORK GOES TO HOLLYWOOD (as staged as it was) but what I loved was its opening segment!! 

First of all, it introduced the masses to LITTLE JACKIE, who deserves as much recognition as she can get, and secondly, it was just sooo fun watching her reinterpret iconic moments in HOLLYWOOD-ness!!  I will always have mad love for NEW YORK, but I gotta say... I dunno... I'm starting to feel like her welcome is just about to have run it's course... We'll see what she comes up with next, I guess...

So AMY SEDARIS never ceases to bring me the mad LOL's, and her new project promises to be no exception!  Did y'all catch her on CHELSEA LATELY the other week??  She was killlling me!!

How excited are we all about TARANTINO’s new movie, INGLORIOUS BASTARDS?!?   I was watching some footage the other day from KILL BILL and I was reminded how enigmatic of a film maker he is.   

I can’t wait to see what he creates with this one.   Not to mention the cast is going to be bananas!!

So of all of the crazy-ass stories that came out this year... This shit about the GLOUCESTER 17 had to be the craziest by far!!

Though I have to say... It does have the makings of being one crazy-ass movie!!


On a recent flight to Miami for business, hopped-up on valium and complimentary champagne,  the featured movie was MAMMA MIA.  I was reminded of how much I genuinely enjoyed watching it this summer on the big screen. 

And I couldn't have been more proud of my boy DOMINIC COOPER!!  Seriously, I think everybody who happened to be in LONDON the summer he broke through with THE HISTORY BOYS to critical acclaim, collectively feels some kind of parental kinship to the lad!! And just look at how fierce he continues to maintain himself!  The kid's a star and I'm sure we can count on a lot more hotness to come our way ;)

So did anybody see THE STRANGERS a few months back when it was released in theaters??



Now, I always wish the best for my girl LIV and the trailers looked waaaayyy skerrry, but I guess it was as unforgettable as they come... Did anybody like it?

ESCAPADE was the very first cassette single I ever bought (from the long gone MUSICLAND franchise) and she will forever hold a place in my heart, so I will deffo be tuning in if the project ever gets the green light...

So I'm frantically trying to catch up on my BROTHERS & SISTERS on the ol' tiVo and I gotta say... Though this season did have such highlights as KEVIN & SCOTTY's wedding, most of this season has kinda landed in our living room with a big thud.  

While I love love love everything it’s accomplished in its chock-full of mastery first 2 seasons, I can't help but feel like the creative team behind this once ahead-of-the-class primetime drama is starting to fall into the same old traps that seem to bog down the majority of shows in that genre.  I'm still keeping with it and though the road's been bumpy of late, I'm hoping for a strong season finale... (Fingers crossed... It would be way too much of a bummer if it never got back on course...) 


So have y'all heard about this new show in development with none other than one of my favorite directors from the past decade at the helm, MR. ALEXANDER PAYNE?  It sounds pretty amazing and with Payne signed on it promises to be well-crafted.

What a great premise BTW! Can’t wait for the pilot! I’ll be tiVo’ing…

So this week's ep of THE HILLS was long anticipated and has since been much ballyhooed!! I for one, of course, loved every frame of it. (But I think at this point, I could happily sit through 22 minutes of LC and LO reading the LA County Yellow Pages and be holistically transfixed...) Anyways, this article from the LA TIMES really lays it all out.

I love when people try to intellectualize The Hills. After reading this article, however, I do feel it necessary to go on the record to declare that if Heidi and Spencer do get their own spin off (which is very likely) that’s a show I cannot make an effort to destroy my brain with. Although, Spencer does hit the nail on the head when he says in this article, "We're improv TV personalities. That's way harder." Well... A tip of the kaslopis to you, Spencer!


So I know it happened a few months ago... But I can honestly say I never saw the divorce between one of my all time favorite people in the world, LIV TYLER and her WHO'S-HE-WHAT'S-IT husband coming…

I've always said... LIV is one of the few women I'd actually consider switching teams for. Hmm…


So this new movie sounds like loads of fun!! I’ll be lining up to catch all this hot action fo' sho'.

So I woke up this morning and threw on some VH1 to get going and lo and behold, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but the music video to FALLING SLOWLY from one of the best movies of 2007: ONCE.

And speaking of pleasant surprises, I was watching this NETFLIX commercial the other day and who happens to pop up on the screen but none other than one of my old high school crushes, JAYSON SOMETHING-OR-OTHER!!

LOLOL!! I realize how funny it is that the last name of one of my HS crushes, but I do remember he drove a pretty bangin' car and he played CLAUDIUS in our production of HAMLET and was pretty damn good at it too, if I recall! ;) Anyways... way to go JAYSON S.

So I caught the most amazing interview with REM on NPR the other night and it reminded me of why they've remained such a musical presence in my life since I can practically remember.

So what's going on with PROJECT RUNWAY and it's alleged move to LIFETIME??

So, I'm really not liking the sound of this... It should go on the record that I have issues with having to tune to Lifetime to watch, well, anything... I'm a weird gay that way... Maybe it’s more about me than the situation but I don’t feel comfortable with this change yet.  Honestly, it just seems like such a tarnishing of the brand. And like Kelly Ripa was saying the other day, some of the mojo might be lost by this move.  Hmmph.  I’m not feeling it.  I hope this doesn’t cheapen the show.  We'll be following these developments closely.

Well I'm glad to hear that's no longer the case! Phew! These two divorcing would almost be as devastating as if Posh and Becks were to not work out. Not that I’d ever want to put that energy out into the universe. Heaven forbid!! I would probably die. Unless he left her for me and then I’d be OK with it. In fact, Victoria would probably even be down with that scenario. And we would so be besties!! Wait…who were we talking about again?
