DRY SHEETS, ICE CREAM, JELLY BEANS... THREE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS!

So how do we feel about this recent season of DEXTER?? Overall, I'm loving some of what they've been doing but not really feeling a lot of where the show seems to be heading. Everything about it just feels like its going through such a heavy third-season slump... First thing's first however: the new guy (DESMOND HARRINGTON) is bloody gorgeous!! Shady drug dealer past?!? Yum!! My biggest beef, however, has to do with getting JIMMY SMITS in on the action is distracting.

I can’t help but feel that it looks a little COUSIN OLIVERish to me… But as soon as things start picking up and the work immerses itself in revolving around this genius creation of a protagonist, I'm hoping that the rough edges will fade away and the show will remain as addictive as ever.

And luckily the production team will have some more time to find their groove again and get things back on track as they're now saying the show's been renewed for at least 2 more seasons!!


So as seems to be the trend this season... the recent installment of THE AMAZING RACE (long one of my favorite shows ever!), seems to kind of be in a slump too.  I mean the show is still great, the production quality and precision is all still there, but this year's group of contestants is kinda blah.  There is however one huge exception! And he comes in the form of one DALLAS IMBIMBO!! Love love love!!

Yeah, he has a reeeeally hot story behind him so check it out, yo!

So it should come as no surprise that one of my recent guilt-free pleasures is the absolutely idiotic VH1 treat, I LOVE MONEY.  

I was happy that HOOPZ won, she was kinda the one I was rooting for but I did find it odd that nobody has seemed to notice how dramatically different she's been looking these days!! Does anybody know what's up with that?!?! 

So it can pretty much go unsaid that I was pretty into the most recent incarnation of the now legendary REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES challenges, THE ISLAND. 

My heart went out to ROBIN more than ever this time around! I felt so sorry for her :( I just like her... And my boy JONNY BANANAS fuckin' cracked my shit up!! Who that misogyny would be so funny!! ("YOU DUMB BITCH!!") What a performance! 

*Ugh… So, I hate to say this but… I have to agree with PEREZ on this one...  At least we die-hards can count on yet another season of  THE HILLS!!

LOL! It sounds like AUDRINA and gang are gonna go rogue!

So the new season of ENTOURAGE started off kinda rocky but somewhere around the recent JOSHUA TREE shrooming episode (one of their best episodes in the past 2 seasons! The gay house party at ARI’s while he’s having a bad trip in JOSHUA TREE?!? Brilliant!) it definitely started to come back to its rhythm. 

We needed that episode. It reminded us why we watch this show!

I gotta give a completely gratuitous shout-out to IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA. This joint just keeps going strong.

Both the recent take on the Liberty bell story along with the one when CHARLIE writes a play were particularly LOL-inducing.
 

And speaking of shows that have managed to avoid their third or fourth season slumps, THE OFFICE continues to just blow me away. Somehow, miraculously, the premise simply never tires!! How much longer can this continue on? 

Adding AMY RYAN to the cast was a brilliant risk! I've been watching her closely for a few years now and unlike JIMMY SMITS addition to DEXTER, she fits in seamlessly and only contributes what could be a dying horse into a newly recharged stallion!

A'ight!! So that's my TV fix. Phew! Just had to get that outta my system ;)
