First of all, I haven't really been able to write much about WEEDS this season but I've had more than a few conversations with many of my friends who insist that this is the best season yet. (Which says a lot as WEEDS has always been a finely tuned show.) Thing is... I would prolly have to agree with them. Obviously, I'm lovvvvvving the direction they're taking CELIA this season. ELIZABETH PERKINS is cracking my shit up!! Oh, and of course HUNTER PARRISH is just getting more and more ridiculously good looking with each episode. The fact that they have him butt-ass naked in some episodes hooking up with a hot MILF sure helps!! SLurrrrp!!! Anywayz.... my boy GUILLERMO's been doing amazingly the past few seasons and I've always thought there was something a little special about him, but after just learning that he is in fact openly joto... Well... I think I just might be falling in love!! XOXO. Deffo got mad love for the GD.
So last night's ep of THE HILLS was sooooo existential I almost died!!
I still haven't properly addressed how much I'm loving this new season. That teaser trailer they released a few weeks ago had me transfixed by this season the moment that mascara-stained tear ran down poor LC's face. Countless articles have been written regarding the theoretical validity of this pop cultural juggernaut (I personally consider it an experimentation with perceptions of reality), so I'm not about to set out on trying to add my 2 cents. Suffice to say, if I was in grad school... Well... there'd definitely be a dissertation to be written on it all. All that aside... last night's episode had us all cracking up.. And not for the usual reasons... Did ya'll catch the newest cast member's debut last night?!?!?
LOLOLOLOL!!! So one night, MATTY, some other friends and I were out at BOULEVARD 3 and we saw them all filming for THE HILLS. The crew wasn't really roped off so I took the opportunity to run up to AUDRINA and tell her how hot she was! I didn't actaully think I'd make the final edit but sho' nuff!! BTW, it looks like AUDRINA has taken to BLOGGING as well and she's actually doing a pretty good job at keeping up with it all!! HEAD OVER HERE to check it all out!! (She really is a sweet girl.)
Soooo... I had no idea that this was even going on but... Did ya'll hear how DEXTER and DEBRA are allegedly dating?!?!?
OK... I realize that I shouldn't be bothered by this but... EWWW!!! I mean, obviously they're just two actors who work together a lot and are in the same world so they have a lot in common, blah-blah-blah, but considering the content, material and subject matter of the show, considering what these actors have to go through to bring us the complicated and troubling product that is DEXTER... Well, it's just kinda creepy, that's all!! I mean, if COURTNEY COX and DAVID SCHWIMMER were dating during the 90's, I'm pretty sure we'd all think it was really cutesy. But DEXTER and DEB??!!? *Shivvvvverrr*.... At least we never heard of MICHAEL C. HALL trying to get it on with LAUREN AMBROSE during SIX FEET UNDER days... That would just simply be TMTH!! Can't wait til when DEXTER comes back at us SEPT. 28th!! I'm sure there'll be plenty tongue-in-cheek innuendo to play around with!!
