MAKING NEW YORK PROUD!

So back in late JUNE I had the amaaaazing opportunity to drink in my very first NEW YORK CITY PRIDE and lemme tell you... It definitely had me falling in love with THE BIG APPLE all over again!!

While we were there, we got to see this year's TONY AWARD WINNER FOR BEST MUSICAL: IN THE HEIGHTS!!

OMGOMGOMG!!! Seriously you guys, watching this show was one of the most amazing experiences I've had at the theater for a few years. This amazing piece of energy and life washed over me like no other. I had goose bumps through most of the run and sobbed like a baby throughout. As the final curtain came down, I was able to taste a tiny portion of what it must have felt like to see WEST SIDE STORY back in the day for the first time. We bought the soundtrack and it's been in my car since we got back. Absolutely brilliant!!
