But I will give a shout-out to friend and comedian, JIM DAVID, who almost instantly responded to the news this morning by posting this dead-on response to the whole debacle up on the HUFF POST. Holla!!

Anywayz... How annoying!! Of course the RNC would pull a stunt like this almost 12 hours after the close of what was an amazing, memorable, uplifting, intelligent and progressive week in American politics. PS: This is perfect timing to have BILL MAHER back on the telly!!!! I can't wait to hear what he has to say tonight. This month (and especially today) has been soooo crazy, he won't even have to make up any jokes. Just relating the facts alone should bring plenty o' laughs.

Girl, I didn't know she could sing too!! I've been wanting to see SPRING AWAKENING for more than a year now and this news just makes me want to see it more!! I can't wait til this show finally makes it to LA. Too bad HUNTY won't be in that run... :(

So have we all been catchin' the train-wreck soft porn that is I LOVE MONEY over on VH1??!!

Brilliant!! It's basically a REAL WORLD/ROAD RULES challenge for all of those FLAVOR OF LOVE/NEW YORK/ROCK OF LOVE left overs!! I was surprised to see 12 PACK get the boot this week, that doesn't leave much eye candy for me :( Oh well, at least he can get back to his BF, HEAT.


Speaking of trashy telly... I'm not obsessssing over NEW YORK GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, like I would when she was the elimination queen of trash TV, but this recent incarnation has had its fun moments. What I am loVVVVVVing however, is the opening theme by LITTLE JACKIE!!

So we're finally staying in town this weekend and enjoying all that LA has to offer. Still, it promises to be a whirlwind. We have dinner tonight with BRIAN and COLLIER at SAINT FELIX, then a crazy night planned for EAGLE or MJ's. Saturday night we got dinner with DEBBY at FOXTAIL , which is quickly becoming my new favorite restaurant in town! After dinner, we have to head over to catch SYLVIA in a version of MACBETH over in HOLLYWOOD. Sunday we have the MUSIC TO WEAR tour to fuss over with ANDREW CHRISTIAN and DJ KIMBERLY S. Monday, however, is all about LAGUNA LAGUNA LAGUNA!!! I prolly won't be posting much over the weekend as LABOR DAY is kinda sacred for me and it's one of the first weekends since early JUNE that I'll be able to stay in town and enjoy LA all summer, but I'm sure to have plenny o' pix up by next week! Plus, with KATRINA II heading straight for NEW ORLEANS and what's sure to be an all out assault on that poor PTA mom, there's going to be plennnnnny to post about next week.
