ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?! Ugh.... So we woke up to news today to just reconfirm how little this country's been paying attention and how fucked up everybody's priorities seem to be these days.


Yuck. What's wrong with these people? I mean, you'd think that all the time I spend flying over them between my trips to LA and New York I'd pick up on what makes them tick but so far, it has proven to elude me. Hopefully this is just a random bump in the road and all will return to normal once the conventions get underway.


So it's AUGUST which only means one thing: a daily case of THE VIEW withdrawls as the girls go on hiatus... Luckily these ladies are still finding ways to provide us with plenty of drama, even if it's not centered around the HOT TOPICS table. Hot off the heels of all the rumors that broke a couple weeks ago regarding SHERRI SHEPHERD's cut-throat dismissal from the HOT TOPICS desk, MS. SHEPHERD fired back today saying she wasn't going anywhere.

You know it's just as well. While I've been really hard on MS. SHEPHERD in the past, I kind of feel bad for her now. I mean, who else could BABS find that does such an amazing job at representing how clueless and uninformed the majority of this country is concerning most issues?!? She wears her shoe well and now that I'm used to her, it'd probably take at least 3 days to get used to her not being around.

Is there something wrong with me cuz I'm mildly curious in catching this movie in the theaters.


Even though it appears so holistically amoral at its core... and it's apparently a total rip-off, and despite the fact it's getting pretty shiteous reviews... There's something still drawing me to it. I've yet to see THE BANK JOB though I've been dying to for months now... And there's just something about JASON STATHAM I find so ridiculously H-A-W-T! Yummy!

So I'm just feverishly compiling content for the site. I'm trying to find spare moments to finish up posts on my recent trip to EUROPE and MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE, my recent visit to PORTLAND to see my parent's new carbon neutral condo, my recent trip to FIRE ISLAND for ASCENSION WEEKEND, how I just can't stay away from VEGA$$, etc. Of course, I've still got to put together all the content I've been compiling regarding THE BEIJING OLYMPICS, THE RETURN OF THE HILLS, this off-kilter season of PROJECT RUNWAY and the recently wrapped season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Not to mention all my summer movie viewing and my nights out. Yikes! I'm so busy I barely have time to stop and post! But we'll get our groove soon, bitches. We'll make this shit happen.
